ABOUT US
Rise Against Hunger Washington D.C. Metro Area was founded in 2012 and serves the greater Washington, D.C., and Baltimore regions. Through 2016, more than 13,000 local volunteers and partnering organizations, including McLean Rotary Club, Northrop Grumman and Shenandoah University, have helped build the local movement to end global hunger. In this region alone, through 2016, more than 13.8 million meals have been packaged to benefit 16 countries.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are always looking for volunteers to come to our warehouse and help with preparing meals to go out on shipments and to help us with upkeep and cleaning equipment. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Joe Gautier at jgautier@riseagainsthungerindia.org.
