Stop Hunger Now’s Crisis Response in Haiti Continues: Airlifting and Shipping 2 Million+ Meals

ADRA International and Airlink Deliver Stop Hunger Now Meals in Response to Hurricane Matthew

Raleigh, NC — Stop Hunger Now’s crisis relief efforts in Haiti continue through the distribution of  food to those impacted by Hurricane Matthew. The global nonprofit has partnered with Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) and Airlink to send 285,120 meals by plane on Nov. 1.
An additional eight containers will be shipped to Haiti to support the relief efforts of ADRA.
The Stop Hunger Now meals will provide critical relief to more than 25,000 people in Haiti. The dehydrated meals are packaged by volunteers, and are comprised of rice, soy, vegetables and 23 essential vitamins and minerals. Traditionally meals are used to support development programs such as school feeding  programs, but 10% of our meals are set aside to be able to provide immediate crisis response.
To help Stop Hunger Now respond to disasters around the globe, please consider making a donation to their Global Emergency Relief Fund. Support will enable the organization  to respond by distributing critical aid to people in urgent crisis.
